Nighttime is the Right time

I I had a good time designing their clothing. It has been awhile since I did any pencil work on such a large scale. I saw this basic pose in a fashion magazine while waiting at the dentist office and tried to commit it to memory so I could draw it when I got home. Anyway, I changed the clothing, the hair, the faces, made him a vampire and added the background. The pose is from a jacket ad but I changed so much of it. The girl had an afro, I changed that! I enlarged her eyes, changed her nose shape and made her lips larger. I made all of her clothing up, even the cool boot stocking with the little skulls, all she had on were panties. I kept his face basically the same but I did alter it and thinned it ( his face was kind of squarish). I gave him longer, fuller hair, I raised, thinned and pointed his brows, changed the shape of his eye and nose, filled his lips out ( he looked like he had a bit of an over bite in the ad), gave him fangs, I added the things to his fingers, gave him pants that were not fitted and put the straps around his legs, gave him boots with spurs and changed the position of his legs. I added all of the background. So, I did have a pose reference but I changed it to suit my needs.

Hah, this hangs right above my dining table.
