Artist's Comments
First off let me say this. This picture is 24"x 18" so it was a bitch to scan! I had to scan this in 6 different sections and you can see a little scan line across his chest, oh and I had to use the smudge tool too. I will try to take a picture of it with my digital camera tomorrow but I have trouble photographing graphite, any suggestions to keep it from glaring? If I get a better one than this I will replace this one with that one. It looks so DAMNED good in hand I wish ya'll could hold it and see all of his prettiness! About the picture, thanks to Akane-chan Yamamura for sending me a bunch of images to choose from, the Gackt and Hyde is next in line! The photograph is kind of far away so I couldn't see as much detail as I wanted so I had to work with what I could see or think I saw. But, I had to do it when I saw it, I am not complaining, I am just used to close sharp detail so it was a little bit of a challenge to do. The wings are his tattoo that he has on his back. I read where he wanted devil wings but when he went into the tattoo parlour to have it done he changed his mind, I think they suit him.

I think this is a great scan of it, I see no noticeable scan lines. However, I'd recommend, to photograph it if you must, is to pin it up on your wall, turn off the lights, and set up some lighting where it's not hitting the drawing directly, but off to the side.
